Teresa returned to the living room—dressed this time in a plain black t-shirt and slim-fit blazer of Dens’ (with the sleeves rolled up) and some black slacks of Malliry’s. She was barefoot, still, but had put on a bit of makeup, mostly around the eyes.
Anmarie patted the couch next to her, and Teresa sat down there.
The three were watching a film—what Teresa soon realized was a remake of The Hunger starring Nacho Castelli and Korea Kill.
“Huh,” Teresa said. “They’re both musicians.”
“Well, they started out as musicians,” Dens amended. “But now they’re actors, too.”
Teresa smirked and winked at Dens, making him blush and Malliry chuckle. Anmarie gently smacked her arm.
Together, they watched the two musician-actors playing vampires make out with two human clubbers. The scene was much longer than the original, and much more explicit, with many more combinations, including Nacho and the male clubber having anal sex, and the female clubber performing unsimulated cunnilingus on Korea Kill.
The room was tense and still. It seemed to Teresa that everyone was turned on, but no one exactly knew what to do about it. She wanted to say, “We should totally act this out, y’all!” And briefly imagined how that might go: She would cozy up to Malliry, kiss her, then start hardcore making out with her, until Malliry was legs-spread, and she was eating her out. Anmarie would play the Nacho part and bend Dens over, fuck him from behind with her hand or maybe a dildo.
But then on the screen, Nacho and Korea pulled their ankhs apart to reveal tiny daggers and slit the throats of their lovers and drank their blood.
“Well, that’s a bummer,” Teresa said.
“Yeah, what a waste,” Anmarie said.
“Totally.”
